3 Scenic Places to go in the US

Any time is a good time to indulge your senses with a scenic vacation. Consider these three U.S. destinations when planning your next trip. They’re picturesque, beautiful and provide a perfect backdrop for you to relate, relax and release the stresses of everyday life.

1. Sedona, AZ

Sedona is a can’t miss scenic getaway. Regularly regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the U.S., there’s much more to this western oasis than Red Rocks. With nearly two million acres of scenic forest land to hike, bike and explore; you can connect with the land, the sun and the stars.

Known as a place of spiritual healing and renewal; Sedona is equal parts scenic, artistic, adventurous and relaxing. The landscape features many spiritual vortexes– Bell Tower and Cathedral Rock among them– that are known to give visitors a positive attitude adjustment just by entering the town. And the myriad spas and special treatments will give your aura a boost.

The plentiful art galleries and nearby wineries and tasting rooms are welcome ways to engage your other senses. A few days in this rustic, yet romantic, destination will leave you yearning for more.

2. Savannah, GA

For a more sedate scenic getaway consider this charming, Spanish moss-draped southern charmer.  Savannah is perfect for a long romantic weekend with plenty of history, food and fun to keep you occupied and engaged. A moonlit dinner cruise along its namesake river is a romantic option. Nearby Tybee Island is a historic beach town that only minutes away from downtown.

Land lovers can while away the hours in the cities parks and museums. And if you care for a scare, there are more than enough “Haunted Savannah Tours” to have you jumping at things that go bump in the night.

The well-known Savannah College of Art and Design lends a college vibe to the town, which has an unexpected amount of progressive art, food and culture. Take a bite of this sumptuous city-sized Georgia peach and savor the taste of southern hospitality.

3. Kauai,HI

Hawaii may seem like an obvious vacation choice. And really, any of the islands offer more than enough gorgeous scenery. Oahu, Kona, etc. all have their charms, but Kauai puts a premium on privacy. It’s not as developed as the neighboring island’s so there are fewer crowds and more landscape to love.

The island has it all. For an afternoon that’s both invigorating and relaxing take a hike– literally. Kauai’s mountains are full of dense beautiful forests and many will reward your efforts with a waterfall that’s perfect for a private dip (skinny or not).

For a less strenuous, but still, super-sexy time check out one of the many hidden beaches that dot the shoreline. Find your own blue lagoon and make memories that will last a lifetime.
